Troubleshooting Tips

If you’re experiencing problems while using Mambo Merge, here are some steps you can take to resolve common issues.

Make sure you’re running the latest version of Mambo Merge.

Expand the menu in Mambo Merge and select the About option. The version of Mambo Merge that you are using is displayed.

Visit Mambo Merge on the AppExchange at https://appexchange.salesforce.com/appxListingDetail?listingId=a0N3u00000MBinOEAT and scroll down until you see the latest Version.

If you do not have the latest version installed, please install it from the AppExchange. You do not need to uninstall, you can just install over your existing version.

Find what version of Mambo Merge you have installed.

Remove formatting from your Merge fields in your template

Open your template file

Select your merge field including the curly braces around it. Be sure to no select any spaces before our after the braces.

Cut the merge field including the curly braces

Use the Paste Special or Paste with Options feature and choose plain text.

Repeat on all merge fields that are not working.
